Xl Notes is an add-in for Microsoft Excel that will let you include notes, save web pages and attach files to cells. It will integrate itself as a new tab in the MS Excel 2003, 2007, or 2010 ribbon.
By using this add-in, everything you attach to an Excel spreadsheet will be saved with it. This way, you will be able to gather every piece of information related to a certain spreadsheet in just one file. This way you can use Excel’s grid as an organizer for your records, and its drawing tools to make mind maps connecting every piece of information. Xl Notes can add objects without changing their original format, and import the information contained in those files to fit the standards of an Excel spreadsheet. It can also delete or rename any note or file attached to the spreadsheet, or search for information within the notes.
When installing xl Notes, it will also install Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Second Edition, Microsoft Office 2003 Primary Interop Assemblies, and Microsoft Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies. These components are needed for Excel to accept this add-in.
